Starting in the Fall of 2015, our client here at Steelcase was interested in providing complimentary morning and afternoon snacks for their employees. This was to be seen not only as a perk to the employees, but also a way to get up from their desks and create intentional connections with people they don’t meet with on a daily basis. The complimentary morning snack is a daily bowl of whole fruits hand delivered to each area by one of our employees. The afternoon snack has taken on a different role….every day at 2:30, our staff sets up a “Snack Bar” in our cafes featuring Truly Good Foods snacks! We provide a variety of snacks for the employees and love working with TGF!
WHAT TGF PRODUCTS DOES YOUR BUSINESS SELL?
I believe we have tried almost ALL of the snack mixes, mini snack bags, bulk nuts, chocolate covered nuts/dried fruit, all yogurt covered pretzel flavors, candy including special holiday items, foil wrapped footballs and baseballs and more. Our clients all-time favorite snack we purchase is the chocolate malt balls.
HOW DO YOU MERCHANDISE YOUR PRODUCTS FOR MAXIMUM SUCCESS? ANY TIPS & TRICKS?
Since our snacks are free, we don’t have to worry about merchandising. However, if there is a very healthy snack mix that people would tend to stay away from, we post comparative nutritional information to a “non-healthy” snack to convince the consumers of the benefits of Smart Snacking!
PERSONAL FAVORITE TGF PRODUCT?
Personally, I love love love the Yogurt Covered Almonds. YUMMY! We love to keep adding variety to what snacks we offer for our afternoon snack program and get excited when new snack mixes are available to try!
