Do you manufacture all natural products?

Yes, we currently manufacture over 150 products with no artificial ingredients. You can find the listing of our all natural products HERE.

Do you manufacture low sodium products?

Yes, we have over 200 products with low or no sodium that can be found HERE.

Where are your products produced?

Our SQF, Kosher and organic production facility in Charlotte roasts nuts & seeds daily and blend over 60 bulk snack mixes. These facilities also package and re-box many of our items to meet our customers’ varied needs. Truly Good Foods operates nationwide with sales and distribution offices in Reno, Orlando, Atlanta, Washington DC, Dallas and Charlotte, NC.  Most Truly Good Foods orders are shipped within 24 hours from one of our seven strategically located facilities.

What is the average shelf life of your mixes?

Shelf life for our snack mixes range in longevity depending on a variety of factors. The average shelf life for mixes is six months with dried fruits lasting up to 12 months. Some tips when storing nuts:

  • Packaged snack mixes keep fresh longer than bulk.
  • Whole nuts keep better than chopped or ground ones.
  • Raw nuts spoil faster than roasted nuts.

What is your quality control policy?

At Truly Good Foods, we continue to expand our efforts to provide safe quality food products to our customers through ongoing investments in food safety improvements. We achieve this by establishing quality management systems, producing products that adhere to Federal and State regulations, continuous product improvements to meet customer needs, a dedicated & motivated work force, and maintaining level 2 SQF certification.

What are your top selling items?

What type of oil do you use?

We roast our nuts and seeds in highly-refined peanut oil. The refining process separates the allergenic peanut proteins from the oil. The resulting refined oil has negligible residual protein. Studies show that “most peanut-allergic individuals can safely eat peanut oil”, providing it’s highly refined to remove the protein.

How do you source your ingredients?

Truly Good Foods works with only top, well respected nut, fruit and candy vendors in the country. We and our representatives have personally toured the facilities and growing fields where nuts are grown, shelled, cleaned, sorted and packaged. We understand the cycle of crops in the various growing regions, assuring you the most consistent quality and ongoing availability. We also work with the top candy and specialty food producers in the world, and source the most recognized brands desired by our customers. Our purchasers stay on top of the latest trends to assure that we stock the most current, unique items available.

Are nuts a good source of protein?

Nuts are an excellent source of protein – they are even included in the USDA Food Guide Pyramid within the meat category.

What are tree nuts?

Tree nuts are just what they sound like – nuts that grow on trees. Some of the most recognized tree nuts include almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, chestnuts, hazelnuts, macadamias, pecans, pine nuts, pistachios, shea nuts and walnuts.
