2015 Sweets & Snacks Expo Highlights

Thousands of new sweets and snacks were introduced at the 2015 Sweets & Snacks Expo in Chicago. The National Confectioners Association hosts the annual trade event to connect retail and wholesale candy and snack customers with the industry’s manufacturers. 650 companies were there to showcase their hottest new products with 16,000 industry professionals attending.Some of the biggest trends of the show seem to be bite-sized snacks, healthier chocolate options, and flavored popcorn. On the flavors side, breakfast flavors will be very popular this upcoming year along with nostalgic flavors inspired by childhood. Think s’mores, banana splits, and lemonade. Seaweed seems to be on track to become one of the biggest flavors of 2015 as it could be found in many products at the expo.

Truly Good Foods was proud to be a part of the show with a booth highlighting some of our newest and best-selling products. Attendees were able to sample some of our products and see what’s new in the snack industry.
