Nuts can be a difficult food group on the digestive system- ofen causing discomfort and bloating. If this pertains to you, try eating nuts that have been soaked and dehydrated! This is a very simple technique that can be applied to almost any nut and helps aid G.I. distress.

While nuts are often featured in a variety of different desserts, why not make them the main attraction for dessert? Nuts can be made sweet in a multitude of ways, from candied to sugar-coated, to chocolate-covered. You can’t go wrong with any of these options- they’ll be sure to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth.

For those who are trying to watch their weight, nuts are a great option! Almond are the lowest calorie nut, with just 160 calories per ounce, followed by cashews and pistachios. But dieters beware- only eat these nuts raw or dry-roasted if you’re watching your weight!

Nuts are a salty food without the help of any additions! But if you’re looking to kick your plain nuts up a notch, regular salted nuts or boiled peanuts are a great way to get your salty fix! As an additional bonus, you can add ranch seasoning, chili powder or buffalo seasoning to give nuts an even more savory flavor!
