2019 Preview

While 2018 was a great year for us at Truly Good Foods, next year is on track to be even better. Here is a sneak peek at a few things we have in the works for 2019.

New TGF Snack Bags

In early 2019, we will be launching a new look for our Truly Good Foods snack bag line. One of our best selling packaged snacks, our snack bag line offers a wide variety of some of our favorite snacks including snack mixes, dried fruit, nuts and candy. Stay tuned for a few new flavors to be added to our snack bag line too.

Rebranding Packaged Snacks

With the new nutrition labels deadline looming for 2020, you will be seeing our packaged snacks with brand refreshes. These will be rolling out throughout 2019 so stay tuned for announcements.

Charity Initiatives

As a food manufacturer and distributor, we strongly believe that NO person should ever have to go without the basic needs of food and water. To help that cause, we are proud supporters of the CROP Hunger Walk, a nationwide endeavor to raise money to alleviate hunger and poverty in this country and overseas. Their concept is simple: ending hunger one step at a time.

Since its first walk in 1978, the Charlotte CROP Hunger Walk has raised almost $8 million to relieve hunger, with almost $2 million staying in the community to help local charities Crisis Assistance Ministry, Loaves & Fishes and Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina provide relief to people in need. In 2019, our company has pledged to volunteer their time, talents and resources to help make an impact at all of these local charities as a year-long commitment that culminates with the CROP Hunger Walk in the Fall.

Food Shows

In addition to the National grocery trade shows we do every year, we will be exhibiting at two of the biggest food industry shows along with a channel specific conference. You can find Truly Good Foods at Winter Fancy Food Show in January and Expo East in September. We’re looking forward to featuring some of our snacks at these major shows and meeting with current customers and prospects.

This past year, we have had many successes creating custom snack menus for breweries so we’re excited about being at one of the largest brewery shows, the Craft Brewers Conference, in Denver in April.

National Sales & Marketing Conference

Late September of 2019 will mark our largest National Conference yet.  Every year our sales, marketing and purchasing teams get together for 3 days of education, fun and food. As we continue to add key positions as they are needed and address growth opportunities as they arrive, the 2019 National Conference is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet.
