2019 Company Highlights

December 18, 2019

2019 has been a year of exciting developments for Truly Good Foods. As 2020 approaches, we wanted to revisit and share some of the highlights from this past year. A huge thank you to all of our customers and staff for making this such a great year!

New Snack Bags

In early 2019, we launched a new look for our Truly Good Foods snack bag line. One of our best selling packaged snacks, our snack bag line offers a wide variety of some of our favorite snacks including snack mixes, dried fruit, nuts and candy. Stay tuned for 2020 when a few new flavors will be added to our snack bag line.

New Food Trade Shows

In addition to the National grocery trade shows we do every year, we exhibited at two of the biggest food industry shows along with a channel specific conference. We kicked off the year at Winter Fancy Food Show in January and ended at Expo East in September. We’re enjoyed featuring some of our snacks at these major shows and meeting with current customers and prospects.

This past year, we have had many successes creating custom snack menus for breweries so we were also excited about being at one of the largest brewery shows, the Craft Brewers Conference, in Denver in April.

National Sales & Marketing Conference

We honored our sales teams from all TGF locations at this year’s National Sales & Marketing Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC. This includes over 80 people from our seven operating centers (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Memphis, Orlando, Reno and Washington D.C.). In addition to sales & marketing conference sessions, there were big winners honored at our awards dinner. This year’s winners were:

  • Rookie of the Year:
    • Tommy Butler, Memphis
  • Sales Associate of the Year:
    • Tammy Esquivel, Dallas
  • Territory Manager of the Year:
    • Bill Fish, DC
  • Operating Center of the Year:
    • Reno
  • Treasure Chest Bingo Winner:
    • Evelyn Madera and John Tuosto, Orlando

2019 Crop Walk

We had a great time at the Charlotte CROP Hunger Walk this year. The largest CROP walk in the country, the Charlotte walk takes place each Fall as a part of a nationwide endeavor to raise money to alleviate hunger and poverty in this country and overseas. Since its first walk in 1978, Charlotte has raised almost $8 million to relieve hunger and help those in need. Truly Good Foods has been a proud sponsor of the Crop Walk for over 10 years and it is the culmination of a year of different charity work we do as an organization.
